The exact item I wanted to buy was available only from Lakeland, that's a plus to them. But, they didn't have the second item I wanted, neither could I get it from John Lewis, so that is negative for both. Lakeland staff are generally very helpful, their prices are competitive given their quality, so I give them 4.7, rounded to nearest integer 5.

Beautiful, small store to look around. Some of the staff look a little desperate to escape, if you whisper 'blink twice if you hate your job' most will start repeatedly blinking I think. Oh that column by the till is fun to get a large wheelchair/pushchair past.

A large store over two floors with a good selection of products. Very friendly and helpful staff. If you buy online and choose to pick up in store this works very well. Products are of a very good quality with some unique items exclusive to Lakeland. Certainly worth a visit.

Catalogue is very good, but seeing it all layed out in person is better to make the perfect choice. The AC is working overtime in there which is nice. In the back is a lift to the upper floor of the store, which is a great touch.
