I visited here over 10 years ago and the chilli sauce stuck in my mind. Very glad to find Ali Baba's still dishing out top quality take away fayre on my recent visit. This place does what it does well - good cheese, good dough. Friend had the Irish Nachos - highly recommended if loaded chips are your thing!

One of the worst kebab places I have eaten. There was more bread and salad than meat. This place is disaster and should be avoided. Be careful about costs as they tried to charge me an extra pound and the few pieces of meat I did get, it was a huge disappointment. Even the salad was sad. I tried to remove my 1 star, but couldn't. Don't both asking for a VAT NUMBER, apparently they don't have one! Perhaps the tax office should investigate. Grease central lives here! This review is GENUINE and based on experience, flag the comment with google only goes to show other users how bad your service is! Unfortunately, the owner's attack on my review of his food establishment (I dare not call it a restaurant) and the fact that I don't spend all my time eating in Lancaster does not detract from my above review. I have eaten at a number of restaurants, fast food places and food stalls. I would have to say that this place was awful and one of the worse, the staff member on at the time was more interested in chatting up the female customers than dealing with me.
Ali Baba is a fab family run place where the staff genuinely care about their customers. It's a nightmare time for running any kind of hospitality business, but they're always friendly and helpful. The food's fresh and tasty, and the chefs are definitely getting creative with some of the pizza toppings - the Christmas pizza looks epic! Juicy kebabs, well marinated meats, and crisp salads. Spot on.
It's been 20-odd years since I had food from this place, no complaints. Delivery time was quick too. A pleasant driver who was local.
Joy, is sitting in and noshing on a freshly prepared Ali Baba's kebab (or pizza, or burger — not all on the same day necessarily). These guys are the OGs of take-away! The family-run business caters to various tastes, as well as those like me, who appreciate quality at a great price.
