Open to provide hot meals Monday to Friday for those in need, homeless or in crisis. Information, advice, shower facilities and basic toiletries, emergency sleeping bags and food gifted and donated to aid survival. There is a need for providing meals seven days a week, unfortunately at the present time the facility is closed at weekends. When closed information of other charitable provision of a hot meal and crisis information is needed. Hot food can be found on Friday evening being served at the Ark, based at St. Tees in Lancaster. At the weekend there are homeless drop in centres and emergency food open for short periods, offering one daily meal in Morecambe, requiring a four to five mile walk from Lancaster. Check opening times before making the return journey, especially in the winter months when weather is wet and very cold. A ten mile walk in winter for a hearty meal requires energy to meet the challenge. Thanks to all those local charities offering emergency meals throughout the week in Morecambe including West End Impact, St. Barnabas Church, St. Johns Hall, Stanley Road Olivet Baptist.
