Very nice place over all. Rooms, particularly bathrooms need a bit of attention. Main hall nice, rooms spacious and well kitted out. Lovely grounds. Would like to go back.

Spent five days here and loved every single moment. The grounds are beautiful, the apartment was gorgeous and relaxing. The staff were above-average and went beyond the call of duty to ensure I was able to explore Lancaster, Blackpool and the nearby towns. There were plenty of activities to keep me busy and in vacation-relaxation mode. The restaurant was beautiful and the food delicious. Enjoyed my stay and making plans to return sometime in the future. Keep up the good work.
Great one night stay at Thurnham Hall. Great location, just 10 minutes from Lancaster but quite remote so very peaceful! Easy check in, spacious accommodation in studio apartment with all the amenities we needed. Would loved to have stayed longer.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Our 5yo has had fun too. They have a small playground, but on sunny days have brought out a bunch of extra things to play with like a Snakes and Ladders mat, some other games and skittles etc. Everywhere is well maintained and everyone has been friendly.
Peaceful paradise. Fabulous location where the staff are superb. Excellent facilities in apartments and leisure centre. Nice relaxed dining experience if you don't want to self cater.
