Nick is a legend! Went in to get some keys cut which was all done ASAP and worked perfectly. I really enjoyed talking to Nick the owner briefly afterwards. He was super friendly, accommodating and made my day having a joke alongside some good old fashioned putting the world to rights! went here after my running shoe's sole came off from washing it in the washing machine. Sole got glued back on for a good price. Will have to wait to comment on long term durability, but looking really stable.

They do know how to repair shoes. They do good repairs. However the fact remains in having been back for 3 times in the last 9 months I can also confirm that the personality related service issues are rife. If during the course of delivering whatever it is that you would like them to do, they make a mistake or get something wrong, a superiority complex definitely is visible. Including a lack of recognition about having inconvenienced a customer. I mean not even a half hearted apology. I went to collect my shoes (which were not bad when when I did get them). But it was the long road to getting them back that was troublesome with not even a slight effort by the business. I went and the shop had been closed hours early. I rang their second branch. I was informed that if I pay for the repair via phone they would deliver the shoes. I did as advised and informed the person taking the payment that I will have to confirm a time for them to deliver. As a key worker my hours at present are very unpredictable. When I rang to request, the intention of the business had changed. I do feel their ability to repair shoes is fairly mired in lack of humility and treating customers with true respect and intention to give them an experience as good cobblers (as opposed to a conveyor belt Timpson shop). As key worker I know what good work ethic looks like. Its a shame that is missing when the sound technical skill is there. I would give 2.5 stars for the good craftsmanship (which isn’t cheap btw). As 0.5 scoring isn’t possible it’s 2.

They were super quick (24h) to fix up the heels of branded boots I had. They did a great job, renewing the entire heel rather than just the broken bits, and made them like new. I'm very happy with their work.

Took my white and gold Rotary watch with a winder issue, has both day in full with date. Visit and quot's from other repairer's was more expensive with longer repair time all over two weeks, my watch repaired with in a week as promised with better value. More so the price they quoted in store was the price I paid with no hidden extras, also found to be friendly on advice, then phoned me when watch was ready for collection. Thank you all for a very good, quick, reliable service. Will recommend.
