Lovely location beside the river and currently feels very covid safe. Beautiful old building and laid out with plenty of space between diners. The service is fast and attentive but not overbearing. The food was all of the highest quality. Presentation was spectacular and the flavours were exquisite. The Venison was superb and cooked pink to deliver a hefty burst of flavour. The iced honeycomb parfait was one of the tastiest desserts I've eaten. Highly recommended

It's rare I rate something as good as this. Staff were very friendly and attentive. No snobbery. (went on a Sunday) Six adults and two children come to 450 (not sure if that includes the eat out to help out). Food was good, nice ambience.. I think my (vegetarian) dishes were quite small in quantity. All of the other party members enjoyed it... I'll certainly come back.
We have been highly recommend by a couple of friends to come here, So I treated my wife here for an evening meal for celebrate our wedding anniversary. We sat outside inn the candle lit patio next to the calming river. I called in in advance to see if they could do something special to celebrate this evening and they did, They took great care of us recommended what food to try on the menu and complimented by a choice of wines. We felt spoiled and had a lovely evening, and would highly recommend Le Talbooth to anyone who is looking for the added special evening meals. thank you
Excellent service. Food was very up-market in their presentation and taste. This does mean your portions will be small, and bill large, but if there is an occasion and you have money to burn, I recommend sitting outside, as the view is incredible, and ordering something adventurous, because if you don't like it at Le Talbooth, it probably doesn't get much better.
Shared a fantastic lunch with my beautiful wife at Le Talbooth to celebrate our 3rd wedding anniversary a sunny day sitting by the river, food was amazing, the staff and service was excellent highly recommended
