The staff at the store are so welcoming and offer good old fashioned customer service. Nothing is too much trouble. The produce they sell is fabulous and I cannot recommend them enough.

Been going here for many years and until a year or so ago started to see this place go down hill in many respects, especially customer service. I think a lot of this coincided with many of the staff leaving and joining the Farm at Stratford. Meat counter is certainly not what it used to be and the lunch options are have suffered too. Deli staff don’t seem as knowledgeable regarding the products and the butchery staff just seem surly. Won’t be going again.

We've been regular customers of Aubrey Allen since we moved to Leamington in July, and I was driven to write a review after my outstanding experience there this afternoon. It was extremely busy but very well-managed in line with Covid requirements. The owner/manager is a diamond and proper local man who will recognise you and say hello if you visit often. His influence clearly rubs off on the rest of the staff, who are very friendly, efficient and hard-working. Beyond that, both the quality and quantity of food they offer is outstanding and, considering the quality, not that much more expensive than the supermarket. Both the raw and prepared food is delicious, and they have a large stock of local condiments and ingredients.

Best and friendliest butchers in the town by far. Excellent 10 out of 10

We were treated to the butchery course and can’t rave highly enough about it. An intimate hands-on carving experience led by a seasoned butcher of over 45 years. Class size of about seven adds a sense of firsthand learning. Amazing way to start learning how to separate meat from the bone, taught in the French or continental way. A fun experience gift for a special someone. Lamb leg; whole chicken; and sausage twisting over the course of 2 hours, and what you cut, you take home (unless you ruin it, in which case, they’ll replace the cut with the instructor’s). Excellent spread of wine and Aubrey Allen nibbles afterwards for a wind down chat and social. Staff are too kind for words - thanks Helen, Steve, and Billy!
