Fire alarms been going off for 40 mins still not sorted
Brochure said en-suite room but accomodation provided could only be described as a shed, which I was forced to share with 8 other guests. Furthermore, the receptionists were rude and very unhelpful.
Excellent old RAF Base.
A shudder goes through my spine whenever I have to go to this place for training. Although a lot of money has been invested in this place to vastly improve the tired accommodation and mess halls, it's still a place where the rank and file get treated like dirt by the discipline staff (including those who have served for over 20 years!) There is no cost to manners, of which the MPGS staff on the gates could remember that they are still dealing with humans not robots, even if that's what they hope for the new trainees here. It doesn't exactly inspire our new recruits from all the Services passing through. Yes vast improvement in infrastructure, but could do with some improvement in personal communications and Human Factors!
