From the outset, James stood out from all the builders we contacted regarding our first floor extension. He was professional, understood our needs and made workable suggestions, providing a competitive quote and favourable start date and timescale for completion. Vicky was extremely helpful in getting us started and providing ongoing support, we knew each week what would happen and they never let us down. The team of builders on site were excellent; friendly, considerate, tidy and the quality of their work was exceptionally high with attention to small details which make all the difference. Following completion, and after speaking to the team, we went with a block paved driveway to complete the look; the finish of this is outstanding and very much compliments the extension. We cannot recommend LC&G highly enough, friendly, supportive, professional and highly skilled.

Not one job they have undertaken has been done properly. They ask for “snag lists” with the obvious implication that if they’ve made a mistake and you don’t notice they are not liable. Here are some of the more outrageous quotes:- “You didn’t tell me you wanted it (the new ceiling) level.” “It (a drain pipe ending 3ft above ground and splashing water on the wall) is fine. We’ve built you a soakaway ( a bit of terram with gravel over). And finally “Kitchen cabinets are often not in line. It adds character” I’m now faced with getting other people in to finish or correct the work that they have done.
James and his team from Ledbury Construction and Groundworks have done a fantastic job re-paving our driveway. Punctual, hard working and with care and expertise. Nothing but praise.
Ledbury construction and grounds works run by James is a reliable and professional company who have done two fantastic jobs at my nursery. They also always tidy up after themselves and I have nothing but praise for them.
I would highly recommend James and his team, they did a superb job of the single story extension on our house. Quality workmanship and a pleasure to have around whilst the work was being done.
