We visited on Valentine's Day and had their tasting menu, so it was different to what is usually served, and we loved it. I have some dietary restrictions (including gluten intolerance, and I don't eat meat, only fish) which they coped very well with, and adapted the standard tasting menu to my needs without sacrificing much. In fact one of the courses they had to create especially for me was my favourite (a scallop and celeriac dish). The only course where I felt at all "deprived" was the dessert, but only because my husband was almost ecstatic over his! We chose to have the drinks pairing option, which went very well with the food and included a few particularly tasty drinks; they also offered us an alternative drink for one of the courses which had been adapted which I felt showed they took their drinks pairings seriously! I haven't yet visited on another occasion to sample their standard menu, but am keen to do after our very pleasant experience with the tasting menu. The only minor complaint is that the lighting is a little harsh and flickery when seated at a table directly under a light. My husband and I are both a bit sensitive to flickering lights so we asked if it was possible to turn the lights down, but were told that this actually made the lights flicker more! Thankfully they offered us another table away from the lights and it wasn't a problem, so if you are also sensitive to lights it may be worth requesting a table without a light over it when booking.

Excellent food! This is not your typical and common Italian restaurant. Original dishes but still served with simplicity. Delicious! Portions are good and so is the price. We loved Dough and we highly recommend Aperitivo!

The food was great. Great menu with lots for all including vegans. The price was ok too. A few simple improvements could make it great. But please note there should be a door on a kitchen if, people hang coats on meat slicing machines. The kitchen did not look great, so being able to see it did not add to the experience. Other than these minor issues I would suggest a go.

Superb. This is probably the highest standard of food available in the suburbs in Leeds. Basically the same owners and chefs as the highly rated Vice & Virtue in town, but without having to go to town! Think of it more as fine dining than Italian because if you want straightforward lasagne & pizza this is not the place, it's much more interesting and innovative than that. Deserves to do very well. Highly recommended

Went as a meal for two. We shared a few small plates between us (larger than your normal tapas). Menu regularly changes and is often different to online. Lovely wine and cocktails options too. Highly recommended

Food absolutely amazing. Arrancini, the best I’ve tasted. Vegetarian calzone was so tasty. House red was really good value for an excellent wine. Decor beautiful too! Will definitely go back.

A few of us went for the pizza and prosecco offer on a Tuesday, although I swapped mine for a beer. Great food and great value. Nice place to while away an evening in pleasant surroundings and good company.

Sharing menu was really tasty, well designed dishes executed well. Nothing too pretentious. Drinks were cracking. Friendly front of house staff and good atmosphere. The only thing that I didn't like was the Frank Sinatra - esque reworks of modern pop songs I would have just preferred actual Frank :-)
