Our Mission We are a Social Enterprise based in Leeds, working with a range of schools and families across the UK. ChatterBug was established in 2008 after recognising the lack of speech and language therapy available for children, especially those from less privileged backgrounds. Our mission is to ensure that individuals with communication difficulties have the right support and guidance they need to reach their full potential. In order to provide an excellent service, ChatterBug have a fantastic team of in-house speech and language therapists who offer the highest quality of expertise for our clients. Every member of the ChatterBug team is enthusiastic and flexible in their approach to providing high quality therapy to individuals from all backgrounds. Together, we have developed a range of services that support both the individual and those caring for them, this includes additional support for parents, teachers, teaching assistants and group leaders. Our Expertise At ChatterBug we are registered members of the Association of Speech and Language Therapists in Private Practise (ASLTIP), Health Care Professionals Council (HCPC) and Royal College of Speech and Language Therapists (RCSLT). Our wide ranging expertise equips us with the skills, knowledge and expertise to tailor our therapy around the needs of individual children. ChatterBug also has a wealth of experience working with schools. We have a firm understanding of school environments, curriculum and OFSTED requirements and can therefore adapt our services to specific educational goals. Our experience and knowledge of working with schools enables our staff to assist teachers in supporting pupils with speech, language or communication difficulties and supporting quality first teaching.
