I have been working with Dave Clark and the team at FDYL since the start of the year and cannot rate them highly enough. I have had some brilliant assignments, they really listen to what you are looking for and place accordingly. Invoices are paid like clockwork, never any issues there and a great support team who get back to you really quickly on any questions. Would highly recommend to anyone looking to explore the interim market!
Having been out of the recruitment arena for nearly 20 years, I was very nervous about having to find a job again. I did the usual round of the major agencies I knew from previous dealings and was fortunate enough to come across David Clark at Woodrow Mercer. He helped me understand both the permanent and interim markets. Interim was something I had never considered before, but after David explained the pluses and minuses of that particular niche, I felt it was something I would like to try. He didn't try to fit me into the first role that became available - he helped me understand where my strengths and weaknesses to an employer were. The result was that I got an initial 6 week contract that quickly became 6 months and has just developed into being offered a permanent full time senior role. Cant praise David and the Agency he represents highly enough. My earning expectations were met and managed and I would have absolutely no hesitation in using them again
As a Finance Director working in industry whenever I've found a great recruiter i.e. someone who has really understood what I want from a candidate, I've always followed them in their new roles as their career progresses. Some of those have now settled at Woodrow Mercer - good to know where they are.
I have worked with FDYL/Woodrow Mercer for a couple of years now on both sides of the fence i.e. as a candidate and a recruiter. All of the people I have worked with (Neil Muffitt, David Clark, Sara Clark) there have been very responsive and genuinely achieve what many recruiters just say they do - that is to listen to what is needed and provide a great service as well as coming up with some original thought as well. Whilst I am usually hesitant recommending companies/people I am happy recommending Woodrow Mercer to other people.
