Love this place, a real gem in the countryside with a fantastic history behind it and all must walk to lud church and learn its history. Hard going but worth every second, if taking children make sure they understand the dangers of rocks and high peaks. Plenty of nooks and greenery to take a picnic as well. Take water and make sure your phone is charged if you want to take those breath taking views in

The roaches is a wonderful place to go and explore. The views are to die for and theres various different walks you can go on. Can be busy at the weekend so ensure you get there early as parking is limited considering how popular it is. The only downside really, like anywhere where people can take their dogs, is you just can't get away from the dog excrement!
Car park a few minutes from the prominent rock formations. It can get very crowded and I would not recommend anyone to park in unmarked areas as almost everything time I was there I saw people being fined for it.
Amazing place for a walk, moderate climbs and not too hard for them not into walking. Once up you can see for miles and there is plenty of Beauty spots. If you are doing this route I would recommend walking towards lugs church and back!
Fantastic scenic area to explore. Rained constantly hen we where there. Will be goi g back there again hopefully when the sun's out.
