Good service.. Had a gold necklace repaired. Phoned around a few shops and was told that my necklace was irreparable due to its design. City gold smiths repaired to a high standard. Highly recommend. Would use again.

I have bought a number of items from this jeweller and they have always been a pleasure to deal with. They really came into their own when i bought my fiance a bespoke engagement ring, they helped with every aspect and then when my partner was unfortunate enough to lose it they were sympathetic and once again dealt with the situation swiftly and they managed to make a ring and replace it during the lockdown. In all i am very impressed and can't recommend Robert and the team enough.

I've been in several times as I get complimentary cleaning for my ring and they have always been very professional and friendly. I come here once a year to get my rings cleaned and re coated. Always been brilliant service with the price and quality as well. Unfortunately I lost a diamond from my engagement ring and broke the clasp holding it in. After a couple of weeks - my ring is back to how it was when I left the jewellers. Very happy yet again. Lorraine and her team to a fantastic job. Keep up the good work.
Brought 14 carat gold bracelet to add an extra 2 links from my mothers another 14 carat smaller gold bracelet, link was done very unprofessionally and had to return 4 times but still the finish product looked appalling. As i was that angry i just couldnt look at nor wear the bracelet so i decided to sell. And guess what? I with new buyer brought bracelet to money shop and another jewelery shop to check golds purity, and both,links that were done by this goldsmiths scammer, appeared to be 9 carat not 14. I never told my mother that her bracelet was stolen and then used other cheaper gold. Due to this scammer i lost a lot of money as two links weighted about 20 grams(bracelet 110 grams) I never reported this theft to police but now i really regret that.
Took a ring in for a simple resizing and it was completely ruined. I then requested that they fix it - and they mangled it even more! Needless to say, I won't be returning - certainly not with any jewelry I value!
