Amazing heritage railway replicating a full UK mainline from a bygone era. Unique in the country and probably in the world.

Amazing Place with an extensive and exciting range of Steam and Diesel locomotives. An excellent day out for the family and the weekend rail enthusiasts. The sheds at Loughborough are definitely worth a visit to at the end of the platforms. The twin track makes it one of only a handful of places in the world to see two steam locos passing each other. Great for the photographers.

Great railway, staffed by helpful friendly people. The scenery is lovely as you pass by. It was a trip enjoyed by both children and adults alike. We have made the return journey on 3 separate occasions.

The southern end of the Great Central Railway. It has a tea room and toilet's and a 1950s/1960s atmosphere. Dogs are welcomed. There is limited parking on site. There is limited cover if the weather is bad.
