Templars is just lovely the staff are very friendly the service is quick and the cakes are just fabulous. We often go on a Saturday afternoon and we always get a table. It is never too noisy and you can sit and relax

Usually love this place but just had a very bad experience with rude staff. Arrived at 4.35 on a Friday for a quick cup of tea and to feed our daughter, we were very aware of the 5pm closing time. We were met with a very grumpy reception and reminded a number of times that we'd need to be out by 5, the tray of drinks was dumped unceremoniously on our table without a word and we all felt like we'd ruined the evening of the staff by arriving when we did. The four of us won't be returning.
A great place for peace and quiet. Lovely food and excellent service.
They were attentive to the needs of our group with a centagenarian in a wheelchair. The food was excellent and the staff were polite and friendly.
