For the last few months my prescription for my heart condition has been messed up. Given I'm suffering from chronic anxiety at the moment this isn't helping my mental health. This is all down to an appalling level of communication between the practice and the pharmacy. I know the practice has contacted the pharmacy on several occasions to try and sort it out, but the fact is hasn't been. So every month I'm having to ring up and get the surgery to confirm to the pharmacy I need the medication. The latest episode has resulted in both the surgery and the pharmacy saying I didn't request the medication. Firstly this is a repeat prescription and therefore I shouldn't need to request it - it should just be there. Secondly my wife collects the prescription every month and she's the one who has to point out the medication is missing. She's also the one who tell them it needs to be ordered for the following month - usually by ticking a box. (For the record it wasn't on the form - again.) The end result is she's reduced to tears as she's made to feel guilty by both the surgery and the pharmacy. The doctors need to sort this lack of communication out - as it is grossly unfair on their staff. It is their staff who have to bear the brunt of customers frustrations. It is the staff who are being placed in increasingly difficult circumstances as they are expected to manage the withdrawal of doctors from face-to-face encounters with their customers/service-users. Add to this the inability to get appointments, when one actually needs them, and it can be no surprise, that the surgery had to install protective barriers to protect the staff from physical assault, well before Covid arrived. Rest assured, despite being a patient for 50years, if I could go elsewhere, I would.

Hoping this practice is the worst GP service in the UK. If there is another practice worse than Willowbrook then God help all involved. No reliable customer service always get things wrong and impossible to make any reasonable contact. Don't think they have doctors but if very lucky you may get to speak to a nurse. Would give it no stars.

This is the worst surgery I have had the misfortune of having to attend. Receptionists give blood test results out without any clue what they're talking about. They told me my results were fine and turned out I had two problems, one of which requires me to be on tablets and another which I needed a hospital referral for. If I hadn't booked a doctors appointment, I never would have known. When I call for appointments I get told I have to call Monday morning at 8am - I work full time and don't have the opportunity to do this. I would give this place 0 stars if that was an option. They are extremely negligent towards patients and seem like they only care about ticking boxes. I have had multiple people in my family given wrong results by the reception staff - they shouldn't have this authority. If that wasn't bad enough, I have had to deal with doctors misdiagnosing me and not paying attention to symptoms. They say they take complaints seriously but there has been no improvement in the two years I have been there.

A catastrophic outcome for a patient, as a result of poor communication with the Pharmacy is inevitable. The Surgery's robotic response to my previous review demonstrates a lack of urgency or desire to deal with pesky patients. Patients who have the temerity to want their Doctors/leaders to protect them from harm - which includes agencies on whom they rely. My issues with the Surgery and the Phamacy have been going on for months. Both sides blaming the oth.

This practice is not fit for purpose I tried to get urgent help for my son and it took 2 days, numerous phone calls which are so frustrating a trip into the surgery which was a waste of time and energy. I then had to ring at 8 the next day and wait 5 hours to speak with a doctor who was not from that surgery anyway for an urgent matter that 111 or a hub are no good for when you want to speak with someone who knows what issues you have. I would not recommend this surgery to anyone and feel sorry for the older people who need a doctor. I would recommend you look into how this practice works. Also you can not get a practice survey to fill in apparently because of covid19 or is it because they no what will be said.
