Myself and my family’s past interactions with other Police Services have merited a derisory 1 Star review rating for their abysmal service. It is therefore so gratifying to recognise the Leicestershire Police Service efforts over a hectic Christmas Day with a merited 5 Star review rating. I was worried about the wellbeing of an elderly, vulnerable aunt as my numerous phone calls to her were unanswered. Since I live in London, it was impossible to personally pay her a visit, so I phoned the Leicestershire Police Service Contact Centre and spoke with 2 lovely ladies by the names of Alison and Kath about my concerns. Within hours of the phone call, I received a return call to say my aunt is in respite care and all was fine. It was such a relief to all family members concerned to hear this good news. Thank you everyone.

It's nice to see that the police have the resources to send two policemen out to see me over an allegation (which never happened) of someone being called a name. Nice to know that the money is being well spent.

Visited this police station to report something only to be told it isn't used for public ...such a big place I feel waste of resources and money a very expensive parking lot for police cars and admin.
