Wilkinsons, kind of like the new Woolworths. They have pick and mix but don't sell 45s I'm afraid. On my visit today I bought a large tub of exterior filler for 3 - a bargain. I did notice though that they had a Lynx deodorant for sale that was Marmite Africa flavour. Marmite deodorant! Ewwww! Don't get me wrong, I like Marmite as much as the next Brit but I don't want my pits to smell of it. Enough to turn your stomach, so I knocked off a star. Incidentally this particular branch is rumoured to have secret tunnels beneath it. Apparently, these days they are bricked up but I wonder where they lead too? Another rumour suggests they are haunted which is why they got bricked up, but everyone knows that ghosts can walk through walls, duh!

Managed to buy all that we needed, including a sandwich and drink for slate lunch. Service was good and everything is a good price.

Love this place. Its where my husband. Father SBD baby son are interred beside the church. I love the occasional services which are held there. I sing with the church choir and it is a unique experience worshipping where people have worshipped for hundred's of years.
Quite a nice little wilko, nice layout, easy to manouver around although Aisles are a little narrow for the current situation going on. Prices are good and most staff are very friendly. Visited on Wed lunchtime so rather quiet.
