This place is well worth a visit...plenty of seating in the rustic barn style upper room. Although it's not table service the food is good, best cheese scone I've had in a long while. Staff are friendly and welcoming and food is delivered to the table after ordering. The cheese selection is great if your looking for something to take home and you can try the selection before buying.

Great place - fabulous selection of cheese - and you get tasters! Yum! But not just that, it has a lovely little cafe, the coffee is great, the cakes are delicious, and they sell some tasty jams and chutneys too. And let's not forget the staff who work there - the ladies who served us were so friendly and helpful. Please stop by if passing, it is well worth a visit.

Lovely place for a visit and a cuppa and a cake. The cheeses they produce there are delicious. We also have in the past booked a tour to see the cheese being made. Love the place!

The 15minute cheese making tour is very informative - you see the cheeses at various stages of the production process. Monkland's has a cafe with beautiful outdoor seating area which serves a rather nice ploughman's lunch. Definitely worth a stop if your in the vicinity.
