My Makita MLT100 table saw stopped working while cutting a wet piece of timber which was way too big for the saw but I thought I'd give it a try anyway! Spoke to Bill on the phone who was really helpful and offered to have a look. I asked if he had any idea how much it would cost, he told me that a recent motor rebuild on another MLT100 had cost about 260. I took it in and the next day he phoned me to say that he had had a look and reset the thermal cutout switch and it was now running well. I had prepared myself for a bill of about 260 so being charged a fraction of this for Bill's time was a great relief. Thanks for your honesty and quick turnaround.

Brought a pasload in for two springs replaced. Cost 97 ( full service is normally 65) Couldn't tell me why it was so expensive but wouldn't let me have the tool untill I paid. Paslode worse than when it went in Had two other iteams witch he i could not fix. The one iteam planner came out with everything taken off and iteams lost, can't repair it? Well neither can I now since you have lost the parts, Router broken casing broken takes it to peaces and then says can't get the part. Why on earth would you take something apart if you know what's wrong with it and can't get the part? You he didn't have to test or nothing but took the itean to bits Not professional at all. Makes sure that if he can't repair it no one else can. Its disgusting. I will never use this person again. Tbh I cam currently contacting trading standards as he was told do not take it apart if your not gonna fix it. Says he doesn't charge for having a look at the iteam, no he does he puts the amount on the iteam that he repaired and gets it back that way. Scammer of the year. Its hard times as it is Do not use.
