GREAT CAREERS BUT BE CAREFUL WITH CONFIDENTIAL INFORMATION. The person in question recently reported me to the police for posting this, but as it is based in fact the review remains. Parris Lawn has great dedicated careers, this is a great home the care staff are amazing and really do care about the residents and their well-being, the food is of a high standard with plenty of choices for the residents. My only concern was the breach in confidentiality on more than one occasion quite a few actually when the receptionist had sent a video or photos from his mobile phone of the cheques he was processing with customer details clearly on display and amounts they were paying, also a shot of all the staff’s private contact details, staff training records, additional costs for resident the extra things they were pay. He had also spoken to me about very confidential information concerning the residents, and staff such as how much people get paid this was said within a group of staff. This is highly classified information that should not be treated with such disregard. I sent evidence of these to head office and the home manager as I was one of the people he sent this sensitive information to, so they could see it was fact and not malicious, but a big breach of the data protection act and confidentiality agreement. He is still trusted with the personal information, but it is a very big concern as how many others is he sharing this information with. So take care with your personal details and information because it has been leaked before and could happen again. Maybe when something a bit more serious happens the management will finally act responsibly. I will be taking this to the CQC, ICO, social services, the local council. And maybe to the local newspapers. Because a breach like this around vulnerable people and Staff who place their trust that such information will be kept private and confidential is unacceptable.
