I'm sorry to say my experience here was not a good one. The young girl who did my t section took an hour and a half to do the foils (I didn't have long hair) resulting in the fouls being taken off at different times so the 3 sections are not even. I had to remind her that the back had already been on for over an hour. She was not supervised through out. My cut was then done by a young man, who was supervised, but it is a very bad cut and should not have been passed by the tutor. I visited a salon the next day and the hairdresser refused to re-cut it as it was such a mess. I'm all for helping model, after all, they have to train, but the tutors should know the learners capabilities.

Had my hair cut by Matteo who had been training for 7 months and it's one of the best haircuts I've ever had. The whole thing was supervised and the attention to detail was the cherry on the cake. I would advise confirming your appointment the morning of as I had a mishap before. It's a training academy so can be busy and these people are learning. A very good experience overall

I trained here as a hairdresser and I'm back to train as a barber. I'm in utter disbelief of the comments that are portraying the TRAINING academy in a negative way...... I can assure you there is no dictator! I have really awful anxiety and this place is the only place where I feel like I am safe and looked after. EVERY SINGLE ONE of the tutors are wanting the trainees to win, they are super supportive and ALWAYS willing to help. People must remember that when you book to have your hair done you are going to a place where people are NOT EVEN QUALIFIED YET. We are being taught everything from taking calls, making appointments, doing hair and cleaning up! We're bound to make mistakes, we're learning..... it's really annoying when people feel the need to put negative comments because they are in a bad mood. This is the best training academy I've been to with the best AWARD WINNING TUTORS THAT ARE VERY MUCH CAPABLE OF TEACHING AND MORE!!!! If you're thinking of coming along then you WILL be welcomed with a smile and 99.9% of the time you'll walk out with a smile unless you're the UNLUCKY MOODY .1% Great tutors, great students great results! If you don't believe me come and see for yourself!!!!!

AVOID AT ALL COST!! I've been stuffed around by the booking staff twice, turning up twice & them not being able to complete my booking for a bunch of various excuses. When complaining to the manager she didn't care about their customers at all, so it makes sense that they have no customer skills whatsoever since the bad management starts at the top. If she doesn't care then her staff certainly won't & they are teaching this to their students. I wanted something really simple - make my roots blonde, something I've been doing for more than 25 years with other hairdressers no problem, LHAA said they didn't know how it would turn out, started talking about all these extra services I didn't want or book & were obsessed with these extras, ignoring the original simple booking I had. They suck!!!
