Whilst the Lido was closed, the park was open - but there must have been a couple of hundred people there - no social distancing and no thought of Covid rules or anyone to monitor or enforce the situation - we turned around and left straight away!! It's a lovely park and I understand the draw but the numbers were ridiculous in current circumstances..

Brilliant boxing day swim! Free hot chocolate and mince pies. The water was so warm and santa hats to wear!

So this can be increased maybe at the next visit but no clear parking and the streets around were confusing - the car park was closed even after we rang before to enquire - couldn't get in and was so noisy with works - hopefully this will get improved :)

With three pools; a main pool, an activity pool and a splash pool, Lido Ponty offers fantastic swimming opportunities for people of all ages and abilities. For just 2.50, visitors can also enjoy everything from fun inflatables to Aqua Scooterz, Aqua Peddlerz and Water Walker. Aimed at our smaller visitors, the splash pool is complete with an umbrella water fountain that your little ones will love. They can bring their buckets and watering cans and play in the warm water in this safe and happy environment. On our warmer days, simply dip your toes in the heated water and relax on the sun terrace. It is important that everyone has a great time with us at Lido Ponty, the National Lido of Wales, therefore it is vital that you stay safe. The following guidelines must be adhered to at all times. Admission to the National Lido of Wales, Lido Ponty, is FREE for children under the age of 16 and 2.00 per adult. All fee's paid are non-refundable and non transferable.
