Had a really good day out. Lake to myself. Nothing huge but kept entertained all day with roach and ide and a couple of F1s. Site was in lovely condition.

First time here, we arrived very late (after getting a bit lost) and still received a fantastic warm welcome and introduction. Went down to our caravan to find lights and heating had been switched on for us, gorgeous location and lovely clean interior. Lots of nice little touches, not least of which is a welcome folder stocked with useful information about the area, bus timetables, menus for local restaurants and maps. Can really tell the extra effort has been made. Very happy and will almost certainly be returning!
I took my wife here as she is new to fishing and we were both shocked how rude the woman was, presumably the owner?! I’m not sure how they get any business with the disgusting attitude she had. Avoid these lakes..... she’s probably scared the fish away! Plenty of other lakes local where you will enjoy the day and meet friendly people
Spent 4 days here August bank holiday for the burt baits festival didnt want to come home caravans beautiful clean and warm,scenery so lovely on waking up each day,karen runs a great little business cannot wait to come back my partner and I would of given it ten stars if we could ,thank you for a lovely stay and see you again soon al and lisa xxxx
