Amazing family friendly school to learn karate. We were fed up with going to the gym doing the same old things and we also wanted to learn a new life skill. We joined Lincoln Karate School three years ago an have loved that we can as a family get fit together, learn something new as well as meet some amazing people. Rob is an amazing instructor who takes the time to explain techniques as well as give some history into its origins. Lincoln Karate School is great for children as the lessons are structured with games for them to play that helps build their confidence, fitness and coordination.

Throughout lockdown Rob has been a godsend. He has provided great quality, regular sessions for all ages and has adapted so well when he’s needed to, sometimes overnight. My daughter has loved taking her karate up to the next levels and that is thanks to his wisdom and encouragement.
This is an amazing Karate School, with plenty of different classes, days and times to choose from which suits all needs and levels of students. Rob is fantastic, professional, helpful with a good sense of humour. He is great with the kids and the adults. Its a very friendly family orientated environment which has helped my daughters and me build in confidence whilst keeping fit and most importantly having fun.
Great family Run Karate School, Rob tailors each lesson to match the abilities of the group with emphasis on teaching strength perserverance and confidence. He has adapted his approach during covid to make sure the children still have regular lessons (both karate and fitness) remotely with both going up a belt within the last year.
So pleased I joined Lincoln Karate School! I used to train in shooting, but due to ill health had to stop. When I first started, I was very open about the fact I wanted to get back into it but wasn't sure how much I'd be able to participate due to work, childcare and not wanting to overdo things and end up poorly again. Rob has been very understanding of this and has helped me in every way he can! I've had to stop training a few times since I first joined a year and a half ago and each time I've been encouraged back as soon as I felt up to it again! I've loved every minute of in person and lockdown training sessions and Rob and his family are wonderful, with a real emphasis on well being they made sure kids and adults stayed active and virtually social during COVID. Love this crazy karate family!
