Lovely cafe in the heart of Lincoln City centre, overlooking the high street below, we had Stoke Black americano and Earl Grey with out lunch. High quality food, however the wait time was a little longer than I'd like, but compensated with professional, friendly staff and charming historic interior.

I wonder if you could help me? I used to buy my coffee from you when I lived near Lincoln. This was about 30 years ago. My girlfriend at the time and I used purchased a blend I think was called Poacher Blend. My girlfriend became my wife and she thinks it was Java but I'm convinced it was called Poacher. Thank you and thank you for great coffee whatever it's name was 30 years ago.

Ive always loved this place, the cakes are the best, and gluten free. The building itself is gorgeous, just a lovely setting for an afternoon cup of tea.

Cool old building with plenty of charm and character, coffee is good quality and hot. Cake tasty. Staff pleasant and helpful...its one of the things you need to do in Lincoln!

Since moving to Lincoln last year, I’ve wanted to try Stokes High Bridge Café. It looks so cute and quaint. This weekend I got round to visiting and I really wasn’t overly impressed. The drinks seemed quite overpriced and I ordered the hot chocolate with cream priced at 3.25. When it arrived, it looked the part, but the cream had actually gone sour. I let the waiting staff know, who were really apologetic and made me a fresh hot chocolate. She explained they had no fresh cream left and asked if I wanted marshmallows instead, to which I said no thank you. It was handled well, but I was still charged for a hot chocolate with cream. The experience has put me off, and unfortunately I won’t be returning.
