What impresses me about this gem of a place is the quality of the ingredients....the chef is truly a magician. Well presented, cooked with a flare for flavour. Charming 0lace, highly highly recommended. Service impeccable, great atmosphere...it has it all.

Food is about as good as it gets, without being Gordon Ramsey. Its expensive but not Jamie Oliver expensive. And you can usually get a table so the prices can be prohibitive to many. Still, a really nice restaurant pub; good real ales, attentive well trained young bar staff and the wonderful food. Its really that good... but you pay for it.

Bakewell Tart is brilliant, Tiger prawn starter amazing, bread and butter pudding and custard is fresh, decor lovely, overall food experience is great. I'd recommend.
