I find this centre very enjoyable and there's little fuss when hiring things. For example, I often hire a sailing boat here and it's always ready on time to go... unlike some other centres -.- The staff here are also very pleasant and engaging. They are good with kids and keeping them on track / interested. However, I do think the archery is... um.. questionable and I think sessions need a bit of variety.

We had such fun today - on the boating lake. Lovely staff and such good value for money. 15 for an hours worth of fun and that was for two of us. I'd highly recommend the Water Activity Centre. Hollinworth Lake is a place of outstanding beauty and so to be able to sail on the lake, as opposed to just walk around it, was such a joy. Cannot wait to come back!
I love this place. It's a place of outstanding beauty mixed with a touch of Blackpool. Well worth a visit, rap up warm in autumn/winter.

Beautiful in and around the Lake! It's also a good walk which takes you about 40minutes to complete.
