Staff in Wicks are always helpful. Nice size store. Usually manage to get what I want including mixed paint colours.

I love this Wickes store but please be warned that the site is located on an ancient burial ground and most of the items for sale are cursed. I bought a tin of paint which I really needed to use in my bathroom but it keeps levitating to stop me from opening in, the only time it opens is when I'm am asleep and it uses the paint to write rude words on my ceiling. I have a similar issue with a Black and Decker drill which I purchased, it steals my sandwiches when I am not looking and calls me names during work video calls. This aside the store staff are very friendly and the long opening hours are very convenient.

Not always the best stocked but generally has the things I need, conveniently close to home. You have to be careful with some of the timber though as it's often warped or twisted but this is true of other chain hardware stores too. Grown too fast and not dried properly.

Website showed 20 of the item I wanted in stock. Once in the store it was apparent that they had 0. This has happened a number of times. In future I'll go elsewhere.
