All fine when they're taking your money, not nearly as good when you want a refund. Been waiting on my 4k refund for months, barrhead trying to blame the hotel saying they've still not refunded barrhead....... Not my problem, that's why I went to a travel agent, I if want to be held at the mercy of individual parts of my holiday I'd have just booked it all myself! Annoying that they admit that they've managed to get refunds of my flights but won't return the cost to me until its all refunded. So they're sitting with my money in their account..... Not impressed, if this place closes down I don't think they'll be missed.

Waiting on refund from may, been patient as asked but know been told it's a problem on Jet2 side, I have now told barrhead to pass on a message to Jet2, it is now September and if we do not get a refund by monday, we are taking it further. I get the feeling barrhead are not in any hurry to resolve this, even got told a colleague spoke to me yesterday to update me, which was not true, I was in all day.

Twice we have booked with barrhead travel both times holiday ruined, now they are withholding customers refunds myself included. Please save yourself the hassle and avoid these cowboys at all costs. Had to turn to Hays Travel who saved my holiday. Now they wont even respond.

So helpful. I've had a lot of problems with their online account and the staff at livingston sorted everything out for me. Nothing is too much trouble for them. Would highly recommend them.

Barrhead Travel in Livingston abandoned us in Thailand during a worldwide lockdown. When the prime minister asked UK nationals to come home Barhead travel assured us all was well and there was no need to get home before our scheduled 2nd April departure. We made numerous calls and emails to Barrhead Travel in Livingston and they would not change our flights. the office closed and stopped taking calls on 24th March when they sent an email advising us to contact Qatar Air ourselves. We could not change the flights ourselves as Qatar airways had been booked with Barhead Travel. The resort and hotel was closing around us with other nationals leaving, flights were being cancelled and borders closing. We were afraid, not knowing how the Thai government would act and not knowing how we would survive until 2nd April Due to the exceptional circumstances we have made our own way home. We asked Barhead travel to compensate towards the last week of our holiday, the booked flights home we did not use, the new flights we had to book, the taxi transfers which were cancelled.only to be informed they will do nothing 'due to the circumstance they would not be offering any compensation.' We trusted Barrhead Travel to take care of us and they failed in their duty of care towards us their customer. Here is a copy of there last email Hi Mrs Sherriff, There is nothing more I can say, that I haven't already. As mentioned yesterday, our Head of Compliance has advised that due to the circumstances Barrhead Travel will not be offering any compensation and will return any refunds given from the Airline and Hotel supplier once received from them. Your staff are incredible! I have never booked a holiday with you, I honestly couldn’t find your store if my life depended on it but today one of your staff was brilliant. We were due to fly out to NYC from Edinburgh airport and a technical issue grounded the flight which was ultimately cancelled, your travel agent Fiona made sure my wife and I knew what was happening, looked after us and gave people around her advice and support despite her 30th birthday plans being derailed. She was genuinely more help than the Edinburgh Airport and Delta combined! We will now book with Barrhead Travel Livingston and with Fiona from here on out, an incredible ambassador!

These guys are the pits My parents recently lost there holiday which barrhead booked from the Thomas cook debacle They went down to barrhead travel in Livingston centre for some help only to be told Sort it yourself online, they dont even have a computer . No help whatsoever offered. I've sorted myself now through CAA If I could give a minus review I would SHAMEFULL
