Best Fish Chips and Mushy peas ever, the standard is very high and the meal is always the same, excellent, been going there for over 10 years now and never had a bad experience, great staff always helpful, go there and enjoy a slap up meal, sometimes you can get lucky and park right next to the restaurant.

Imagine 4 hungry cyclists wanting to get some nice food just before getting on with their cycling trip. We got to the Pebble Restaurant and we were 'welcomed' with: - Subaverage customer service - the waitress just could not be bothered with being decent - Long waiting time - Lousy, semi-cold food - A generally mediocre establishment Unfortunately, this rating system does not allow for negative rating, but I am certain that Gordon Ramsay's show could revamp this place a long way to make the service and food more palatable. Please re-evaluate your position in the food business. Thank you!

Girl behind the counter was busy talking to the one customer in front of me for a fair few minutes then when I eventually got her attention, rather than ask my order she asked why I didn't go to the chip shop a few doors down which was weird. She then proceeded to tell me about their rivalry whilst sounding like a jilted lover which I wasn't really bothered about, I just wanted some chips after a long day! After initially being told they would be 10 mins they actually took half an hour, no joke, for a small chips and a fishcake! To be fair they were decent but I don't think any chips are worth half an hour wait. Just got weird vibes from the place, very strange, easy to see why next doors queue was bigger after the terrible service, think I will go next door next time too!
