Fabulous afternoon. Lovely airy coaches. Each carriage is roped off in two sections to allow for social distancing and each end has a little balcony section you can stand on. Windows open wide so it's easy to get both fresh air and great pictures. Reasonable prices, nice little shop and basic food/drink offerings. Lovely surroundings and plenty of free carparking at each end of the line. Would happily visit again.

Great place for young & old to enjoy the delightful character of steam power...pick a weather blessed day & you'll not find a better half day out...sights...sounds...& smells of days gone by ps.. has wheelchair lift..see pic.
What a lovely group of people. Apart from a few full-timers, this whole enterprise runs with the help of very knowledgeable and enthusiastic volunteers. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip on the train with chat and updates from the guard along the way. A lovely, old-fashioned way to spend an hour or so.
Enjoyed a lovely little ride on the steam train today! Arrived as a party of 8 and with social distancing measures in place had half a carriage to ourselves. 29 for a family ticket which is not badly priced for an hours return journey. A nice little set up ran by friendly, welcoming staff.
Love this place. Unable to use cafe due to Covid, however catering van outside serving good quality hot food and drinks with covered area. Thoughtful social distance solutions in place. Always a treat to watch the trains.
