Very good quality fish, have bought sea bream, bass and turbot, all very fresh and so much better than the supermarket. Support this great local business.

Very good fresh fish. The salmon, tuna and cod is always excellent. Absolutely delicious skate, they don’t always have it but it can be ordered the day before.

Tbh when you go into the shop you kind of feel like they are doing you a favour by serving you! Questions are met with sarcastic responses or eyerolls. The fish is fine but in my opinion it isn't a place you would go out your way to go too.

Good selection of fresh fish. We bought 1kg of mussels and when we were preparing them, only a couple were not good... we read someone else's comment below about the mussels, so were a bit wary of eating them. However, there are simple steps to follow when preparing mussels and you're not supposed soak them in fresh water as this kills them. We ended up having a delicious meal and the mussels were huge. Brown shrimps were also great, will definitely return.

I’ve been coming to A Scott & Son Fishmongers every 2 weeks for the last year and a half. Peter and Paul are always very welcoming and cheerful and get me all the seafood I need to make delicious dinners for my family. The quality of the seafood is always exemplary. I especially recommend the salmon, sea bass, prawns, trout, and clams. Yum!
