Best Japanese restaurant outside Japan! Delicious food with incredible drinks and great service. Open plan kitchen so you can see your meal being prepared. Every single member of staff is extremely polite and helpful!

Came for the Japanese afternoon tea and it wasn't really afternoon tea in terms of quantity/portion, especially for the price, but it was beautifully presented! Definitely understand that it is a spin on the traditional afternoon tea, but still wasn't impressed with how it was done. At 28 per person (which is really 56 for the afternoon tea as it is to be shared by 2 people, there's no option for the full afternoon tea for only 1 person, so a bit of marketing on the menu...why not just say 56 to be shared by 2?) the tea service is not in the expensive territory of classics at many of the hotels around London, but it's not cheap either. And when you consider as well that what you are getting is actually mostly sourced from elsewhere (all the wagashi comes from K. Minamoto), it just seems a bit silly with the small portion of sushi and croquette being the only things prepared in the kitchen. Also FYI, 3.50 charge applies if you'd like to change teas. Everything tasted fine but I wouldn't say anything was spectacular. We usually go to afternoon tea prepared to be stuffed and don't eat lunch beforehand, but this was very much an afternoon snack. We had regular lunch and dinner before and after. To me, it was all just OK. No real issues with it, but I think it just fell flat as a unique take on the traditional afternoon tea and instead felt a bit average.

Had an Amazing Experience here. I came here with two other friends celebrating both my friend and I birthday. The food was excellent!! The ambiance was cool. The service was absolutely amazing!! The staff who served us (Cristian)displayed excellent customer service and quite knowledgeable of the menu. The other staff were also excellent!!! I will definitely recommend this place to my friends and I will be back again!!!

We went for mum's birthday and both had the sushi omakase. The food was delicious and beautifully presented in these cute little dishes. There was more than enough food. The dessert was served with \happy birthday\ piped on the plate which mum loved! The atmosphere and lighting was nice, the waiting staff were attentive. We would go back for another special occasion. It is a little over budget for a normal Saturday night dinner.

Such a treat. If you're a Japanese food lover this is a great place to go for a special meal. The set menu is great for people like me who want a bit of everything. The servers are fantastic and the atmosphere is relaxed but well curated.
