Florence is an absolute gem and her immense talent is only matched by her kindness. This year, Florence adjusted my wedding dress for me, which included tailoring it to my size, adding custom flutter sleeves and adjusting the hemline. My dress looked absolutely beautiful, I felt amazing in it and the guests at my wedding loved it and the custom touches too! However her service went far beyond the masterful tailoring. In the difficult year of 2020, Florence remained radiant and positive. She lifted my spirits and held on to my dress indefinitely when my original wedding date was postponed. She brought excitement to the wedding planning process again. The shop is luxurious, comfortable and impeccably clean, Florence's tailoring skills are undeniable, and her warmth and friendliness shines through. An outstanding experience.

I was delighted with the work that Florence did for me ahead of my wedding in September 2020. She got rid of the creases in my two bridesmaids dresses and made them look much more expensive than they were!! She also altered my husband's suit trousers at very short notice. Florence was always so lovely and friendly and it felt like nothing was too much trouble for her. I would highly recommend Alterations Couture to everyone and will definitely be going there again in future when I need help. Florence is absolutely fantastic at her job and clearly very talented and understands ladies clothing & body shapes! She was able to completely alter the style and shape of an All Saints Jacket i bought which was too large for me to wear and make it into a completely different style which better suits my figure! She's very friendly and caring, and my clothes each time have been ready within a couple of days! I highly recommend using her, I can't fault a thing and will be using Florence for all my alterations in the future! 5 Star service! Thank you :)
Where do I begin ? Florence is a magician ! Her personal style, her shop, her creations are just impeccable. If that wasn’t enough, she has a rocking sense of humour, and a heart of gold. I was lucky enough to find Florence when I wanted to make an organza dress I saw somewhere for an upcoming photoshoot. She didn’t just make the dress of my dreams, she did it in record time too! She also altered a jumpsuit and some vegan leather trousers for me - which I couldn’t have imagined being done so well. She really knows her craft and I can’t thank her enough. She’s a keeper ! Would highly recommend her services to anyone who needs a fabulous stitching or alterations service.
