Since the covid outbreak, ABRSM have been atrocious. no contact number, poor information available online, no way to speak to anyone and exams being constantly cancelled leaving students stuck with the same repertoire for months and months. very disappointed and will be switching all students to alternative asap

Terrible customer service. Ive been entering pupils for over 25 years and never in that time have I come across such non existent help. No response to emails, no answering the phones except for a useless automated reply. The only thing left working (where ARE all the staff??) is the exam entry card payment system. After they have your money then you're basically stuffed. Anything goes wrong, any changes needed - no chance! Zero stars if I could

Disappointing service, takes ages (and I mean a couple of months) respond to emails, students names written incorrectly on certs etc.... ABRSM: What has gone wrong with you guys? I have used your services over a period of about 14 years as a former teacher. Price goes up and the level of customer service down. You use to be the flag ship exam service, not now.... :(

Very disappointed ABRSM. I've been with you for 40 years and have never experienced such disorganisation Even in this pandemic, there should be plenty of staff to speak to and issues resolved. Everything and everyone seems to have gone silent there. All of today's Performance Grade bookings appear to have been taken. Are there new dates to be released on a daily basis? We all have the time to organise and run the exams. Please don't disappoint 1000s of students and teachers.

Terrible service! I know we've got Covid now but this should not be a concern in regard to reading emails with understanding. I tried to cancel my student's booking who had to self-isolate and send them a multiple emails to say I cannot do it online because there isn't a 'bin icon' by her booking. Every time the message back said "cancel using the bin icon". I gave up eventually, the exam is still not cancelled, very stressful for everyone.

Absolutely non existent customer service. No one seems to be working from office or home. strange how you can still book ( if you're lucky) and pay for an exam though. Very disappointed in you, ABRSM! Zero stars....

Sadly ABRSM are going down hill steadily. Having used this examination board for over 30 years I am ready to give up and go over to Trinity. The CDs that are available for purchase with the 2020 -2023 grade books no longer play ALL the options of the A, B and C section but only the ones that are in the book. This is really NOT helpful at all! Price of the book does not reflect the cut in provision either. Also, I find the website really cumbersome to navigate and can't find any sound tracks for the new pieces for 2020-2023. My guess is that they have been scrapped. Again, not helpful as some students benefit so much from having these audio tracks and CDs to help them learn the pieces. Very disappointing. Goodbye ABRSM, you lost the plot!

Having read some of the reviews below, I have to leave one myself. I think it is under estimated the amount of inquires and rejigging the board has probably had to endure. The fact that they have managed to offer online exams both theory and written should be applauded. Over all organisation, information and response to emails is good enough for this period. You can't expect the same service while they adjust. I have had responses to any emails I've sent. At first wasn't impressed with the new online system. But it is more accessible and allows you to reschedule appoints yourself without calling up. Even allows the parent to do it. Saving us time! So much respect for both trinity and abrsm... But I personally found abrsm to be more organised and prefer the syllabus.
