I wish we had never taken out AXA as the company medical policy. I should have looked at the reviews. They do their very best to avoid paying a claim, they find any excuse why I am not covered for a particular treatment and when they do accept a treatment they turn round and say that the specialist recommended by my doctor is not on their books or too expensive. They recommend someone else but sorry I go to a private GP because he knows the best people for a specific problem I am not going to some unknown doctor recommended by AXA just because they are cheap. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

The online system is so unnecessarily complicated and just doesn’t work. To get a doctor appointment you pretty much spend a whole day because there are so many different steps and it is so complicated. I thought the whole point of private insurance is to easily and quickly get a doctor appointment. Your system is just appalling!

I have to say, I am impressed by Axa Health. The customer service is flawless; I had a claim approved in the first two weeks, no questions asked. Their private GP app is also super good. I recommend them without a shadow of doubt.

If you wish to be scammed and lose money sign up for AXA PPP. I started a claim on the 29/10/2020 regarding a chest pain and today 06/01/2020 they still have not provided an answer. I would be dead by now if I had to wait for their approval. They will do everything they can to NOT accept any claims. Absolutely malicious organisation please avoid at all costs!!!

Absolutely horrific - they essentially are trying to scam you, and take advantage of the public. I am not sure why anyone would have them, or pay for their service. Every single time I have filed a claim, they have tried to trick me by asking questions so that they can get out of paying it. They even tried to use a pre-existing condition from when I was a baby, to claim that my new pain (in my mid-30s) is not covered / ineligible. They should absolutely be brought to court - the government should not allow them to be in business.
