Saw a fabulous exhibition on the history of plastics here. Very well curated with lots of supporting information too. Lovely little cafe and gift shop and upstairs are lots of artist studios which often have open days. Wish we lived closer to visit more frequently

Went to a free origami workshop here, a historic building with an extension by Nikolai Delvendahl Martin architects, they have done really well to make a practical and delightful space on what was probably a super tight budget for the arts charity. The trust is engaging with the community and encouraging local artists.

I've really enjoyed visiting artists in their 'Open Studios' in the old library Manor Park recently- so amazing to be able to see artists work in the place its made. I found i learned a lot about what is involved in how these creative people make a living - not easy in London! Well done to Bow Arts in supporting these amazing designers and artists, the ones i spoke to said the access to low cost space near to where they live was a huge part of their being able to keep working on their art. Also though I'm a bit sad its not still a lIbrary (but at least we have our Library down the road still!) - its so good that Bow Arts and the council have managed to keep this amazing building as a public resource with these open days and free workshops that they have regularly here.
