Tim (Bryars & Bryars) has a review of 4.9 which should be a solid 6 out of 5. Never met anyone with that \down to earth\ pureness, knowledge, patience and dedication when it comes to rare books and maps. A must visit to either online or in-store.

My friend and I were in today and were so impressed! Tim is so knowledgeable and helpful, going above and beyond to help us find what we were looking for. I came in for a little book of poetry as a gift for my grandma and he had the perfect suggestion. He was also so nice to answer all our questions about his incredible collection of rare books (quite a few are absolutely unbelievable). Very refreshing to meet someone so passionate about what he does. Such a lovely store and experience, I’ll recommend it to anyone I know going to London.

Bryars and Bryars is the best rare map and bookshop in London. Its proprietor, Mr. Tim Bryars is both friendly and extremely knowledgeable about rare books and maps. The wide variety of items in the shop will guarantee that even the most specific collector's needs will be satisfied. I would not consider buying a rare map from any other establishment as I have so much trust in Mr Bryars' knowledge and acumen.

I have bought books and tube maps / posters from Tim. I can attest this is the best map shop in London and the UK plus a very very good bookshop owned by a very knowledgeable and sympathetic owner. Thanks!
