Having taken a slow amble along the Embankment we ended up at the Chop House one of my very favourite places to eat. The fish and chips were, as ever, amazing and the friend I was introducing to the Chop House was suitably impressed. Try the minted peas if you are there - fabulous. Bayer on the fish was light and well cooked. Staff team were helpful and friendly. I will keep going back.

Brilliant place on the river, easy to reach from London Bridge or Bermondsey. Reasonably priced with lovely staff. The venue comes with a stellar view especially on a great day near sunset. The menu was unfussy, the drink selection is great and the food was a perfect 10/10 the mash is too die for!

I highly recommend this establishment for the views alone! We asked to be seated outdoors. Even with the outdoor heaters, it was absolutely freezing (but what else did we expect in London in October!) However, it was worth the persevering through the cold for the view of Tower Bridge! The bar menu is very reasonably priced. The chips were delicious.... the steak was a mystery. Absolutely no idea what kind of meat it was, I certainly wouldn't order it again! I will definitely return here for the views.

Wow what an experience. Wasn’t expecting too much of this place but it genuinely surprised me. I went for the bone marrow and snail starter and honestly it was out of this world. The texture and taste were amazing. For the main we both went for the ribeye with chips, truffle mash and the mushrooms. The chips got ignored. The truffle mash and mushrooms were to die for. Again, amazing texture and flavour. Would happily just eat the mushrooms next time. Service was exceptional. Plenty of waiters and waitress so no stress about getting service when we needed it. Don’t say this often but we will be back.

Perfect for a romantic date. Great outdoor setting, absolutely fabulous view and the perfect place to share a bottle of wine on a date. They have outdoor tables along the sidewalk, which took me right back to the streets of Paris. Tables are not too close to each other, so you'll have your privacy. Staff is helpful and polite.

We sat outside for dinner and it was lovely. The heaters were on and they provided blankets and you get a great view of the rover and bridge. Food is good too!!

Stunning food and stunning views over Tower Bridge. I had an amazing devilled chicken livers on sour dough and a delicious - and large - mackerel dish with a creamy sauce. With a free prosecco, the 2 courses were only 20. What's not to like? Excellent service and nice strong negronis.
