I use this post office since it is the only option nearby where I live. As others have already said, the staff are quite forward in pressuring customers to purchase the most premium (expensive) service. When asked about what alternative postage/courier options are available, staff are not very transparent or clear on explaining the options. Today I asked to post a small parcel within England, with dimensions about half the size of a shoe box and weighing 0.5kg using the cheapest tracked service. I was told that the cheapest tracked service would cost 8.95 - I thought this was quite expensive but paid in any case. On leaving the post office, I noticed I had been charged for "Special Delivery by 1pm next day" which was not what I has asked for. On checking the Post Office website, I was quoted 4.74 for a tracked 48 hours service. I went back inside to clarify with the member of staff, who seemed a bit embarrassed and explained that "Special Delivery by 1pm next day" is the only tracked service offered by this Post Office. I am fairly sure this is not correct and that staff are overcharging some of their customers for services above and beyond those they have asked for.

EXTREMELY Rude, unpleasant, unfriendly, unprofessional staff. They offer ONLY the highest prices and refused to give you the less expensive options available. They have no idea about customer service.

Along with other reviewers I have found the staff incredibly rude here. One woman asked me if my package was fragile (as was clearly stated on the package) and then aggressively threw it in to an empty post bag just after I said it was! It felt like she was trying to force a reaction out of me. Luckily I had wrapped the item really well so wasn't too worried, but I found her behaviour extremely odd. Ive left 2 stars rather than 1 as it is generally reliably quiet here...which is why I keep coming!

Took in a small parcel as per Royal Mail guidelines, but refused to post it as anything other than large parcel. Always trying to sell 1st class track and signed. I’d give it 0 stars if I could.

Surreal experience today, I asked for a proof of postage as I've been doing everyday and today an unprofessional and rude man, Benet Singh, refused to do it saying I need to fill up a form for it as I should be doing some work as well and not just him. When asked for the manager he rudely said that there's no manager here and he is the OWNER. I then tried to be served by another colleague and he came all the way to that desk to threaten the employee not to provide proof of postage and also shouting at me to leave the shop. You can see him on the video intimidating me and trying to take photos of myself whilst yelling I'm the owner! I left speechless. Also, nobody in the whole branch was wearing a mask.

I found this to be a well-staffed, efficient post office on a Saturday. Queuing is well-organised, and they have a call-by-number system working to slot you to cashiers.

The reason pushed me to leave this feedback is my experience recently. This post office is not lack of customer services but in need of ethics training. I lost my wallet after visiting a couple of places in Wharf including this post office, so went back to check one place after another. In all the places I went, the staff would offer warm help or guide me to find the right person for information no matter how busy they are. Only in this post office, two staff I talked are more like "Do not know and do not care..." No any willingness to double check or do anything at all. There were no other customers, so it is not due to being busy. I was just shocked about the attitude. Clearly this post office is functional. But Isn't it the basics to be ethical business and care about your customers ?

Wrong opening times displeyed on website. In all websites it is clearly stated that the branch would be open on NYE until 5.30pm. However I was there at 4.02pm and the door was locked and there was a sign that the branch would close at 4pm. Employees were inside at their posts and did not let me in. I cannot understand how this happened and why after so many bad reviews these people are allowed to work there. So many unemployed people would eagerly take up these jobs and do a better job.
