Only giving a star at all because you have to go review or else it would have been none! I Reported a serious assault on my daughter by a school teacher. From start to finish the investigation was lame to put it mildly and this was a senior investigating duo from the so called safeguarding team. 3 months in no questioning of the teacher and insisted my child be interviewed on her own. If this was civvy street and not another protected catholic institution like St Thomas More school the investigation would have been very different and people might well have been in jail. What are they getting paid for standing outside stations in a huddle with no masks on and sitting together having coffee with no masks on and getting caught on social media! That what they’re getting paid for.

Excellent central London location within easy reach of the bright lights and attractions and once you have made you way indoors you are unlikely to want to leave. The reception procedure seems a little formal to be honest, being asked if you want to read the \codes of practice\ and being frisked is a new one but each place has quirks! The rooms have a certain retro minimalist chic about them (if you have ever stayed in a Holiday Inn you will be familiar) and have efficient room service. The place is so popular it is impossible to book in advance!... it must be good then. First come first served here and bizarrely incudes free legal facilities if you need them in a kind of Russian roulette approach to solicitors (1 in 4 chance of getting a good one). Premier Inn could learn alot!

seemingly easy case unsolved... My friend in an Uber got hit by a stolen car at a busy intersection in the center of London and broke her collar bone. The thief driver ran on foot from the scene and came back 5mins later to pick up his ID or something and left again... 2yrs later, he is still not caught even though there are so many cameras on the street. The only explanation I can think of is incapability of the UK police.

The worst experience I have ever had in a police station. Staff were rude and unbelievably unhelpful. A deeply emotional and simple question to find out details of a recently deceased relative resulted in hours long wait and then no information. I was then later told that this officer cant read the information in front of him and that someone will have to call me tomorrow. All the while there were two call backs promised within the previous 8 hours. I have not received anything. Useless.
