Always professional knowledgable friendly staff in A&E. Waiting area full on this visit. One person walking with very young toddler who was barefoot. Obviously not heard of C19. Everyone wore face coverings. However my relative arrived in A&E 16:00 & assessed with x-rays, blood tests & taken to AAU 21:00 - still too long for anyone to wait to be given treatment and hospital bed.

I have used the Urgent Care Centre on a number of occasions. The staff, treatment and ambience are amazing. I have also had a follow up call next day. Pride of the NHS! Highly recommended.

Absolutely shocking nurse at A&E ! I arrived in terrible state on 1 August, was very drowsy and couldn’t feel my arms and legs. I literally collapsed on the floor. I could hear everything but couldn’t feel my arms and weak legs. She came to me and so rude said : “ sit down ! I saw you on cctv walking so you can stand up and sit ! “ that’s pathetic attitude from a medical staff . She doesn’t have a clue about her job, no manners either. If I could sit I wouldn’t be on the floor. I literally couldn’t move my body I was that weak. She didn’t even want to listen , she put me with someone’s help on the chair although I asked her to be put somewhere horizontally. Then she realised I can’t sit so she let me to lie on the blue metal bench. Some man in light green outfit saw that I was flat on metal bench offered me blanket . Nurse didn’t care about my state and even said that I have better blood pressure then she has! I was shocked by all I heard from her. It’s the same nurse that a few moths ago was very rude to a friend of mine that I brought to the same A&E . He was so ill and She also shouted at him that she saw the cctv that he can walk etc. Pathetic service by a nurse that must be out of that place if Chelsea Westminster Hospital would like to have positive reviews. Management of the hospital should watch the cctv and see what she says to the patients.

The Chelsea Westminster Accident and Emergency Department is excellent! I am aware that it may often seem that there is a long wait however all patients are seen in order of priority. This is quickly assessed on arrival by the triage nurse based on the severity of the conditions. It is important to remember that this is for ACCIDENTS and EMERGENCIES only - not for I am not feeling too well but inside I am actually Okay. There are 24h walk-in centres for that! If in doubt call 111 first in an emergency call 999 Let them assess you and if it is genuinely an emergency you will go straight through. Do not put excess pressure on the team who do a brilliant job. (-Written without prejudice) As for the treatment, I have visited a couple of times (both as a patient and as immediate family) and the treatment is fair!
