When I was 18 I had a hip operation that changed my life - no more football or athletics or riding my bicycle. I felt depressed. A nurse took me into the children's ward and what I saw soon stopped me feeling sorry for myself. I now contribute 3 a month to Children With Cancer. 3 is a very small amount but so needed.
