The reviewer who described this Parish as friendly and welcoming should be prosecuted under the Trades Description Act. A better description would of a cold unfriendly parish, whose priests lack warmth social skills and conviction. The worst one is irritable Father Maggs, who greets a mobile phone going off accidently or a child crying, as if it is were a mortal sin. He talks a good game and claims to be a great liberal and is always willing to lecture the congregation about social justice issues, whilst ignoring the homeless man who sleeps on the steps of the Church. In the newsletter there was an advert for a zero hour contract for a local Catholic school. Surely there would be enough room in the Priory for the homeless and refugees if he felt so strongly about these issues and what about Rerum novarum ( A fair day's work for a fair's day pay. Physician heal thyself!
