Claret Press Reviews | Rating 5 out of 5 stars (5 reviews)

Claret Press is located in London, United Kingdom on 51 Iveley Rd, Clapham Town,. Claret Press is rated 5 out of 5 in the category book publisher in United Kingdom. As a small indie press, we publish in a wide range of genres, fiction and non-fiction, from very commercial to less so. Although this isn't a rule we strictly follow, we mostly publish middle school and young adult cross-over. Seven of our books have been turned into audiobooks with a New York audio book firm, Essential AudioBooks, one has been translated into German, and two are being considered for republishing with a large American publishing house. The cover of BlackOut by Sam Grenfall with an illustration by Jayson Lilley has been an award-winning finalist with the International Book Covers Awards. Our books can be ordered through any bookstore or through eplatforms like Book Depository and Amazon. All our books are also available as ebooks. We're passionate about our books; we wouldn't publishing them if we didn't think that they deserved the widest possible audience. We don't ask for any money from the authors we publish, not a dime. We meet all costs of editing, designing, publishing and marketing our books. The Claret Press team has considerable experience in literature, design, editing and marketing. All Claret Press books are professionally edited, have fabulous cover designs and are promoted. If you're interested in submitting to Claret Press, send us a cover letter and a 25 page writing sample. We'll try to get back to you in a few weeks.

Would highly recommend interning with Claret Press. It's a very friendly and open company which publishes high quality books. I particularly enjoyed their recent publication Learning German (badly) by Tim Luscombe and would definitely recommend it!

Claret press is a local business in Clapham that offers a personal service where no query however small is unanswered. I have just published my book( Down the garden path-snippets from the cottage gardener) through them and was extremely happy with the service they provided. Not only did Katie's edit vastly improve the text but she found an excellent illustrator and Designer to lay-out the book. It is also nice to have an editor who really cares about the end product and the person behind the book. I don't know the publishing industry that well but it seems to me that someone like that is rare.

Arrived for over a month at Claret Press for an internship in marketing, work with Katie, the Editor-in-Chief, and the employees is such a pleasure. Dedicated to their authors and the members of the team, I can't wait to see what is going to be the future months at Claret Press.
