Extremely rude staff. I have no idea why people are posting reviews about good customer service when clearly there's an absence of it! I personally don't understand why they have 1 person serving the post office counter during peak times. Note to owner: PLEASE DO NOT FOB PEOPLE OFF TO THE ANOTHER COUNTER TO STICK STAMPS ON A PACKAGE AND THEN SERVE OTHER CUSTOMERS. Had this happen to me and I had to wait another 10 mins to be served again!
Visited for the first time during lockdown a few weeks ago. They were being mindful of restrictions and had someone helping to manage the short queue (with everyone spaced out appropriately ) he was chatting to the regular customers and clearly had a good relationship with them. However last night and today I visited on what are their listed open hours to post some urgent items and both times it has been closed (hours state 7-7 and I visited at 5:30pm and then the next day at 8:30am) it would be helpful if they just updated their temporary hours here if different over the course of the pandemic as they are still showing as open for business
Super friendly and very helpful in these uncertain times. Credit to the businesses that are still operating through these tough times. Plus the American sweets selections they have will bring some memories back
A great little shop with everything you need and lots of variety. Excellent service and a great local shop to have nearby.
Super rude staff. The lady is constantly on her phone watching videos on full volume, so clients are forced to listen to these while standing in the longest queue. The man serving the post office clients is super rude and I heard him telling the clients off on numerous occasions. Also some positive reviews said they have a lot of international produce. They must have confused it with the shop next door, which indeed does sell those things.
I’m using Royal Mail click & drop and dispatching couple of packages every single week. The owner of the shop were very helpful. However there is an elder man working there always hesitate to collect my packages. Despite having I technically can Click & Drop at any post office, this gentle man told me very rudely that why don’t you just deliver it at the Royal Mail depot yourself because we are not making any money out of this. I totally don’t get this, as a business click & Drop customer I can drop my package at any post office but he was really rude and clearly said we don’t collect it because we don’t make money out of it.
