Honestly my favourite shop. Im a collector of the dragon ball super card game and this shop has the best prices compared to all the other places i have been. The staff are super friendly and always there to help i pretty much come to this store every weekend.

Extremely friendly staff. Utterly phenomenal range of games, accessories and expansions. Plenty of players of all variety of games and skill levels. The kind of place that makes you want to go again.

My favourite place to buy specialist board games in London: great prices, always lots of stuff in stock, an easy to reach location, and importantly very friendly staff! A

Really great place to play Tabletop, Pen & Paper, (Trading) Card or Board Games. You can borrow or buy a lot of games and spend hours to play them right there. Only negative things: Air isn't too good and the entrance is packed with a lot of stuff aka not really appealing but other than that it's amazing. Dive into another world - or even a few.

Huge store with competitive prices, especially on GW products. Only problem is their customer service, which can be quite slow to respond, especially on online orders. Most of my orders have been fine but it took over a month to refund an overcharge.

I used Dark Sphere to pre-order a copy of the latest D&D book. The release date was postponed due to the pandemic, which is fine. But four days after the later release date, I had not received my book, nor heard any word from Dark Sphere about why the book hadn't arrived. After 4 days of waiting, I emailed to find out what was going on, and to express my disappointment. I was informed (very quickly, to be fair) that there was a defect in the book, and to come into the shop and look at it. Thankfully, I'm not isolating or shielding! I wonder what would've happened if I hadn't emailed them first? Were they planning to hold onto my money and never send me the book? We'll never know. I went into the shop same day, collected a copy of the book (the defect was minor), and left. Delivery fee was also refunded same day. The entire point of pre-ordering is to ensure you get the product on the launch date, and they hadn't even posted my copy of the book 4 days after launch! Which is just rubbish for a game shop. And no communication. What frustrated me most was the customer service. While a partial refund or similar would have been nice, I'd have settled for an apology. At no point did I receive so much as a "sorry" from from Dark Sphere, or even an acknowledgement that they'd messed up. While it's been nice to have a big local game store, I will now be avoiding Dark Sphere, and advising my friends to do the same. If you don't mind being treated like another meaningless cog in the great machine of retail, by all means give them a try.

Used to be a great place for pokemon cards but they have become scalpers and now charge double the RRP price. Will be avoiding from now on.

Hardly a store by any conventional meaning of the term. Everything you could buy is behind "counters" (plastic pop up tables) as if DnD miniatures are like alcohol or tobacco. Now I understand there's a pandemic, but I've not seen any other store approach purchasing like this. I'm shortsighted, and can't see the models enough to want to consider buying them from 5 foot away. At first I waited behind the table, expecting a member of staff to see if I was looking for anything in particular or if they could be of any assistance. After several minutes with no staff forthcoming I decided to take a look for myself, stepping just between two tables to get a closer look. Within seconds a member of staff was there telling me to get out from behind the counter. I asked how I was supposed to view anything and I was told to ask a member of staff, said member of staff now walking off without asking how they could perhaps be of assistance themselves. For me I won't go there again, Shepherds Bush is too far afield to go to be not be able to look at what I want to buy and to be treated with such disdain.
