My Cytronex 36V NiMH 5Ah battery failed after 10 years. The original supplier could not provide a replacement, only a new motive system for over 1,000. This company was recommended to me and they replaced the original cells in the battery pack with Li-ion ones , increasing the capacity to 10.5Ah. The service was very efficient, the battery was collected and delivered back to me. The refurbished pack arrived with a new charger and detailed instructions on safety and care. A cost effective and professional service was provided by E Bike Batteries. I'm glad I found them.
Very clever the people at E Bikes had a problem with my bike keep cutting out which they solved. I couldn't recommend them more highly. I have informed my local bike shop about them and given them their details. Excellent!
I wanted to write and let you know how happy I am with the battery. Overnight it has transformed how I use my bike. I am 48 and have the starts of arthritis in my knee from years of cycling. For the last 3 months I have been riding out using throttle only on my bike, but have been really limited by the small 10Ah battery. I couldn’t go more than 12-13 miles or a 6 mile radius from home. This morning I rode 20 miles over the South Downs and still had plenty of juice left. I got home and charged up for a bit, then went out for another 10 miles after lunch. '6 STARS' I love using my e-bike, but after leaving the battery out in the rain, I was told by Halfords that I would need to pay for a new battery :( I did some research and came across this company. Please give them a call and straight away you will see they know what they are doing. Customer service is equally excellent - going over concepts so that I can understand exactly what needs to be done. They put new cells into my battery, not only was this cheaper than buying a brand new one, but the bike is now both more powerful and faster. Moreover, buying a new battery may not actually be new as it could be sitting in a warehouse for 6 months. With this company you are really guaranteed NEW cells. I very rarely write reviews, but after the service I received and the quality of product, I feel compelled to give back. DO NOT LOOK ANYWHERE ELSE. I will use this company again and again.
